Writing Personal Statements for Your College Applications

Are you stressed out about writing your college application essay? Are you unsure about how  to choose a topic that will help colleges get to know you better while reading your application? In this workshop, you will work on common essay prompts and will think deeply about the particular story you are trying to tell. You and the other participants will work together drafting, sharing, analyzing, and perhaps even  revising your statements. If you’ve already started your essay, feel free to bring your draft! The workshop facilitator, Prof. Dan Driscoll, is an English professor and Co-Director of the University Writing Program at Drexel University.
